What Is The "Armor Of God"?

The "Armor of God" is an analogy created by the disciple Paul while in prison. He described each part of a Roman soldier's armor and drew parallels to Christian virtues to encourage others to persevere and not lose heart during times of trouble and persecution. We have adopted the Armor of God theme as our flagship beacon for people to find truth, hope and peace in this current life.

The fundamental description of the Armor Of God found in the Bible, Ephesians 6:10-18 includes:

  • The belt of truth
  • The breastplate of righteousness
  • Sandals of peace given through the Gospel
  • The shield of faith
  • The helmet of salvation
  • The sword of the spirit (the word of God, or Bible)

Statement of Faith
We adhere to the following statement of faith.
