Nasal Helmet

This early 11th century Nasal Helmet is made of 14 gauge high-carbon steel, which is thicker than most car doors. Because 14 gauge high-carbon steel is harder to work with, you do not see many products made with it... unless it is custom made and very expensive.

The design of this nasal helmet is very traditional with quarter-panels and riveted seams. The thick nose guard has been designed with period markings which were thought to create more fear in opponents during battle. This is a great find at this low price and a perfect way to enhance your costume.

Note: Helmet padding (or an arming cap) is highly recommended (otherwise, the steel helmet is resting directly on your scalp).
