Chainmail Hauberk (XL 60in chest!)

Our Chainmail Hauberk XL is perfect for larger men looking for knee length and full sleeve (36in long) chainmail shirts. The 60 inch chest size will fit best a 46-54 inch chest size measured over a gambeson. (55-60 chest can still wear it, but not with thick layers or padding.)

Each Chainmail Hauberk is available in mild steel, high-carbon tensile steel and aluminum. High-tensile steel has the most resistance to opening of the rings, while mild steel butted rings may be distorted by heavy weapons contact. Aluminum is much lighter and more comfortable for the costumer and role-player. All rings for this Chainmail Hauberk are formed from round section wire and are 8mm internal diameter with the 4 in 1 pattern construction. Historically designed from the Early Middle Ages through the Renaissance Era.
