The historic Renaissance-era Capitano originated in Barcelona, Spain during the late 16th century and evolved in the 17th century into the Cavalier hat.

Our durable suede velvet reproduction Capitano Hat is constructed with buckram using traditional methods. The five-inch brim is held up with a sturdy ribbon strung through eyelets, all seams are finished and it is completely lined on the inside. (black only)

Made to withstand either wet or humid days, our top-quality hat will last for years to come. Our Capitano Hat comes with two black ostrich plumes. Your choice on the third plume (free): Black, Purple, Royal Blue, White, Red, Green, Gold or Burgundy. The plumes are 18-22 inches long!
