Jim Bowie and his knife (The Bowie Knife) are a permanent part of American history. During the pre-Civil War period little distinction was made between the classic Bowie knife design and the Arkansas Toothpick. But over the years, the Arkansas Toothpick became known as large knife distinguished by its straight, double edged blade that tapered to a fine point. Often one edge was used for rough work while the other was kept razor sharp in case it was needed.

This classic Arkansas Toothpick has a well-tempered high carbon steel blade (battle ready) is 1-1/2 inches wide and 10 inches long with a total weight less than one pound. The real polished bone handle accented with solid brass furniture makes this Arkansas Toothpick simply stunning. For easy carrying, a leather scabbard with brass throat and tip is included.

This is a beautiful classic design that is as functional as it is good looking. A must for every re-enactor or collector of American history.
