Arkansas Toothpick D
Jim Bowie and his knife (The Bowie Knife) are a permanent part of American history. During the pre-Civil War period little distinction was made between the classic Bowie knife design and the Arkansas toothpick. But over the years, the Arkansas toothpick became known as large knife distinguished by its straight, double edged blade that tapered to a fine point.
This Arkansas toothpick is a favorite with a wide high-carbon steel blade (battle ready). Note the traditional coffin shaped black handle has a full profile tang sandwiched between polished water buffalo scales. Totally awesome! Rugged and solid in the hand. A must for every re-enactor or collector of American history.
