Brigandine IV

Traditionally worn over a chainmail shirt and gambeson, a brigandine was a form of protection used widely from knights to archers.

Our rugged leather brigandine has small steel plates riveted between the outer shell and the lining. It is made from thicker leather and the plates are heavily studded in place. Our design has three buckles on each side for great versatility in fit.

A perfect choice for many period looks.
