Classic Chemise

This chemise has very full and long sleeves, and a drawstring neckline. Recommended to wear with most medieval gowns. Made of 100 percent cotton muslin and machine washable.

A chemise is like a medieval slip and should be worn under a gown, bodice or skirt. Typically a chemise is worn under a garment to absorb the body moisture (sweat) and leave less wear and tear on the outer more expensive fabric of the garment. Our chemise is made from the same soft cotton muslin used to back baby quilts.
One size fits all.
