Authentics™ European Halberd

Now you can own a museum quality halberd like no other! Our Authentics European Halberd has a handcrafted blackened iron head mounted on a rectangular shaved, blackened and seared wood pole. (The rectangular pole is more historically accurate and gives the halberd a better directional grip compared to round poles.) Each Authentics European Halberd has a sharp blade about 12 to 13 inches wide, has a 12-inch top spear, and measures overall more than 6-1/2 feet high!

Authentics™ Medieval Weapons are designed after pieces acquired from a lone Metalschmeide (metal smith) who produces and repairs medieval weaponry for castles in Germany. His small, dirt floor workshop is deep in the mountains of Bavaria and he still uses the same techniques passed from generation to generation for over 500 years. Based upon pieces acquired from this shop, Authentics™ Medieval Weapons have been faithfully reproduced as fully functional medieval weapons using many of the same techniques used to produce the originals.
