Tournament Chess Set

The Basic Tournament Chess Set is the base set used by most chess clubs. The larger sized grid has green and off-white squares which are easy on the eyes... and makes black pieces stand out more clearly. (You will not miss seeing a black Queen on a black square with this set!)

Our chess set comes in a nice gift box complete with plastic chessmen and a roll out plastic silk-screened matte imprinted with grid and coordinates. Rank and file numbering allows for easy notation and mapping as you study your chess books. This is a great set for beginning chess players of all ages.
