Some people wonder how is this done. Basically, the artist does with carbon steel what a jeweler does with stones. The steel is polished and textured for a one-of-a-kind design. No tints, dyes or chemicals are used to produce the vibrant color found in this piece of art. Only heat from a blow torch is used to achieve these fantastic colors (a process he calls flame-painting). The temperature of the flame and thickness of the metal along with other factors determine the colors. They are awesome to behold!
