This stunning pirate sword is a historically accurate cutlass replicated from a type used by the Dutch East India Co. across the seven seas. It must be stressed that no design rules for pirate swords applied to the early cutlass, and they took several forms. Our version features a slightly curved wood grip married to a gracefully formed knuckle guard and a steel shell on a long, high carbon steel blade. Includes scabbard.
