This hand crafted Roman sword is designed after the Spatha Roman swords typically used in processions and drills by the Roman Generals. Beautifully made with a tempered carbon steel blade. Perfect for any Roman soldier costume.

The natural wood handle and pommel on this Roman sword is very traditional and the brass accents are wonderful. (dull blade, can be sharpened)

Each of these Roman swords has a elaborate scabbard with brass fittings included free of charge.

Sword Cleaning Instructions Regular use of sword cleaning kits to maintain high carbon steel swords helps prevent deterioration.

Note: Use Linseed Oil to keep wood hilt from drying. If hilt is slightly loose, we suggest using Wood Swell and or Guerrilla Glue to tighten and secure the hilt. Some hilts may need initial care to tighten.
