Roman Oval Shield II

These historic looking Roman shields are magnificent. This oval design was most commonly used by the Roman cavalry for easier use on horseback. Each is well made, constructed of plywood covered with leather.

Covered front and back with leather, this Roman shield has a black steel boss and gold leather wings and lightning bolts on the face. Strong arm straps on the back allow for easy holding. (Curved shield is 23 x 39 by 0.25 inches thick).
