This version of the famed Sword of Lancelot is an outstanding design and is a limited edition numbered sword. Many people have heard of the legend of King Arthur and the famed Knights of the Round Table. One of the most famous knights in the legend is Arthur’s first knight, Sir Lancelot Du Lac (Lancelot, or Launcelot).

Lancelot was born the son of King Ban of Benwick and Queen Elaine. The heroic valor of Lancelot has been kept alive by the legends of his being the greatest swordsman and bravest fighter of all the Knights of the Round Table. Lancelot never failed in his courage, courtesy, or gentleness. Lancelot was also a knight known for his willingness to serve others.

This Sword of Lancelot has a strong high carbon steel blade with a full tang. The wooden handle has a twisted steel chain wrapping. The raised Chalice on the pommel is believed to be the crest that was on Lancelot’s breast plate (and the Holy Grail). The beautiful pommel and cross guard are made of highly polished solid brass. Simply fabulous!

Each battle ready sword blade is hand forged from 5160 or 10/60 carbon steel for strength and beautiful lines, and individually finished to ensure tight fitting handles and a fabulous finish. (Look closely to see the hammer marks from hand forging.)

A full length diagonal suspensioned scabbard (adjustable) is included free of charge. Made of hardwood, this scabbard is wrapped in leather with a diagonal suspension adjustable belt to meet your needs. (This is a unique and very functional design.)

Sword Cleaning Instructions Regular use of sword cleaning kits to maintain high carbon steel swords helps prevent deterioration. (Initial cleaning of this sword is needed to remove protective coating.)
