This is by far the best high-carbon steel Roman Dagger available on the market today. The stunning design is based upon a true historical Roman dagger (also called a Pugio dagger) that still survives today in remarkably good condition in a European museum.

Our dagger incorporates the classic broad, wasp-waisted blade which has been ridged and fullered for stiffness and lightness, and has a full-width tang matching the grip profile. The decoration of the grip and scabbard of this Roman dagger is just like that of the original historical piece. (It has even been antiqued to give it an aged appearance.) Notice the detail, decorated in a silver on black niello style. This is the only Roman dagger for high-end collectors and re-enactors.
