Roman Gladius Hispaniensis
This historically designed Roman sword style is known as the Gladius Hispaniensis and is a nice example of longer Roman swords. An early pattern adopted from Spain, this Roman sword was eventually modified and development into the spatha (longer Roman swords used in the later years).
Made of high-carbon steel, overall length = 33 inches
A full length leather scabbard is included free of charge.
And remember, Roman swords make perfect gifts for men, home decor or for Roman soldier costumes.
This hand forged sword has been designed for a more authentic 'ancient look' by blending antiquing techniques with imperfections in the scabbard, blade and handle. The processes used and their results will vary, however, antiquing techniques and/or imperfections do not constitute damage.
Sword Cleaning Instructions Regular use of sword cleaning kits to maintain high carbon steel swords helps prevent deterioration. |
