Spatha 3rd Century Damascus

This is a stunning example for Roman swords masterfully made of Damascus steel. The historic water markings on the blade are outstanding to behold. This is one of only a few Roman swords with Damascus blades available.

This 3rd century Roman spatha has a beautiful two-tone white and tan pommel and ornate guard and handle which are accented with brass fittings. (no scabbard)

Hand Forged and Folded, Full tang, 500 layers of EN45. Made of Damascus Steel, fully tempered, and has a Rockwell Hardness rating between 45-50.
