This classic Greek Sword (Hoplite) is well made from high carbon steel with tight construction. This sword has a steel guard and pommel with a leather wrapped wood grip. Note the traditional leaf shaped blade which is characteristic of the ancient weapons of the Greek. Swords made with this Hoplite design were very influential in the evolution and development of swords designs. (Leather wrapped wood scabbard is included.)
