MUSASHI 2-Steel Katana (SS673-1)
The best Samurai katana blades often have hardened steel for the cutting edge and softer steel for the spine of the blade (also referred to as 2-steel blades). Getting this right requires covering the spine with clay to prevent it from hardening as the hot cutting edge is water cooled. This is one of the most challenging steps in making a Samurai katana and can make the final katana price very expensive.
Hacking Sword for Cutting:
This katana has thickened blade designed for adventurous sword fans who want a tough blade for heavy cutting (without having to master perfect form).
MUSASHI Makes It Afffordable!
MUSASHI Katanas are very well respected for their quality and have excellent test results from SBG (an independent consumer based testing organization trusted by those seeking objective evaluations). MUSASHI uses their premier forging techniques to create 2-steel katanas at a great price. This is done by wrapping hard steel around softer steel, forging, and then the blade is cut to shape so the blade has a hard edge for cutting and a softer spine for strength. Mistakes are minimized which lowers your price a lot! (Each katana comes with a beautiful silk wrapped wood display box.)
Our MUSASHI 2-steel katanas are hand forged, from high carbon steel (fully functional), have a sharp blade and overall length of 44 inches. For a limited time, we have been given special pricing that allows us to pass the savings on to you. Get your MUSASHI 2-Steel Katana today!
