12th Century Lionheart PV
This magnificent Medieval sword features a cruciform hilt design common to styles carried by the Crusaders in the Holy Land in the 12th century. The wheel pommel perfectly counterbalances the blade giving this sword a feeling lighter than air. Named in honor of Good King Richard, it was a very effective design which was known to shear through chain mail and plate armor. This is a beautiful piece of history to add to your collection.

Walk with pride as you wear a new Sword Belt with this sword (hand-made in the USA by a famed renaissance leathersmith, specializing since 1999).
Manufacturer’s Note: These battle ready swords are made of thick high-carbon spring steel. Typically sheets of steel are measured for thickness and assigned a gauge rating (10 gauge, 12, 14, 18). The lower the gauge, the thicker the steel and strength of the blade. Because of the hand forging, the “gauge” of these blades will often range between 1/4 inch thick to 3/16 inch thick at the hand guard (or estimated between 10 gauge and 14 gauge).
Sword Cleaning Instructions Regular use of sword cleaning kits to maintain high carbon steel swords helps prevent deterioration. (Initial cleaning of this sword is needed to remove protective coating.) |
