This version of the famed Excalibur Sword of King Arthur is the most outstanding design we have found and it one of our personal favorites. Originally retired in 2006, this sword has been highly collectible (our last original sold for $1200.00). Due to high demand for this sword, and our personally working with the manufacturer for a year to bring it back, a limited-run of 50 special edition swords is now in development for 2008 (shipping in 1st quarter 2009).

Many know of the legend of King Arthur, son of Uther and Igrain. The legend has it that Excalibur was magically given to King Arthur by the Lady of the Lake. The unbreakable sword. While no modern sword is unbreakable, this Excalibur sword has a strong high carbon steel blade with a full tang. The handle is wooden with a steel chain wrapping and the beautiful cross guard and pommel are made of solid brass and highly polished. Simply fabulous!

We bought the swords numbered 2-12 to ensure anyone buying from us can have the option for the lowest number available (no one else has numbers this low!). Only 50 Excalibur swords will be made for the 2008 series. Each year after there will be a limited run 100. All swords are individually numbered and year stamped for collectability in the following sequence: Number-G2-Year. (Remember, the originals only have G2 stamped, and the original Limited Editions have ES-number stamps.)

Superb Scabbard Included!
A beautiful leather wrapped wood scabbard with metal accents is included with every Excalibur sword free of charge.

Each battle ready sword blade is hand forged from 5160 or 10/60 carbon steel for strength and beautiful lines, and individually finished to endure tight fitting handles and a fabulous finish. (Look closely to see the hammer marks from hand forging.)

Sword Cleaning Instructions Regular use of sword cleaning kits to maintain high carbon steel swords helps prevent deterioration. (Initial cleaning of this sword is needed to remove protective coating.)

Manufacturers Note: Blades made of 3/16-inch tempered steel are designed to be slightly more ridged than thin spring steel blades (whippy blades) from other manufacturers. This is not a defect, but by design to allow for a difference in blade control during swordplay, etc. Never flex stress test 3/16-inch tempered steel blades beyond 5 or 6 inches. (All testing is a buyer liability.) This item has a 50% non-refundable deposit.
